Didn't take notes, but I really enjoyed this last night. A beautiful nose and flavours including mango, pineapple and lime. There a nice lift on this sweet wine via the healthy acidity. Lovely now, but will last many years yet. Sorry it's the last bottle, as of course it was the best (A-)!

Hazy notes from last night. Lots of honeyed pineapple, mango and nectarines on the rich palate. A bit more acidity would be nice, but still a very nice wine with good concentration and harmony. Just starting to come together, but will last years yet (A-).

A lovely young wine drinking well now. Lovely slatey and tropical fruit nose, and very honeyed on the medium-full palate, with a mix of citrus and more tropical fruit and minerals. Despite the honeyed taste, there was nice balance to the wine, a reflection at least in part by the 'classic' vintage in 2004. Drink or hold, glad to have two bottles left (A-).

Showing a little sulphur on the nose but an impressive flavour with plenty of apple and bright mineral intensity. Off-dry and a good example of the vintage.

Impressive wine. Greeny yellow colour with fresh apples on the nose. 04 freshness, lively and not too sweet - could be mistaken for a Kabinett in warmer vintages but this is right for the vintage. Citrus is there, but mostly apples. Fresh and crunchy - drinks well now but no secondary development yet. Drink or hold.

Wine Fair @ Wine Gallery (Wine Gallery): A bit of mushrooms with kero showing. Similar apple/ orange acidity that shows up in all of Schloss Lieser's rieslings. Very lab-like precision in its approach. Almost too clinical in efforts to keep the sugars lively.

Very easy to drink at this stage. Like sunshine in a bottle. Excellent acidity even though this is on the sweeter side. Very light in the good sense of the word.

Good and classic mix of mineral and apple fruit. Just starting to develop but this is still a young wine.

Fresh fruity nose, some kerosene. Nice acidity, sweet but almost spritzy in it's attack. Very good, 87 points. $21.
