Another year and this is showing more age with the citrus notes still there but the almond/florals taking center stage. Light acidity and light+ mineral notes; I still plan on saving my last bottle until it's past its 5th birthday but drinking very nicely now. Good qpr.

Matches my notes from January except this bottle shows more lemon/citrus notes. Otherwise identical. Good structure, I have two left and plan to open one next summer and one in a few years to see how it ages. Drink one now but no rush if you have multiples.

Really nice and fun drinking wine. Great fruit - think fruit cocktail - atop refreshing acidity and a soft mouthfeel are complimented by an interesting nose of fruits and nuts.

Starting the New Year right (Columbus Berserkers offline #3) (Chris P's): Always enjoyable to try new a new grape variety. This vijiriega shows tons of almond notes on both the nose and palate along with cream, citrus and light acid. Will definitely be picking some to drink poolside during the summer months.

Subtle floral and honeysuckle notes on the nose. Moderate acidity with a dry finish. Balanced citrus; definitely worth picking up.

Local lore says it was planted by the Phoenicians.
Nose is super bright, palate has a richer mouthfeel than I anticipated. Smells like cool stone in the shade. Interesting.
