  • Popped and pour. Light golden. The nose is modest and need some coaxing coming through with pleasant notes of orchard fruit and almonds. The palate has good balance with flavors of crisp apple, nuts and toast. There is good acidic backbone here that make it a reasonably structured wine at this stage.

  • This has moved into a more mature stage now. Pretty nose of flowers, minerals and peach. Medium bodied with a fleshy but balanced palate with flavors peach, tropical fruit and oak coming through. Showing a bit of complexity on the mid palate but I don’t expect much more. I think this might get a little bit better but not much so I would drink it in the next few years.

  • In prime time drinking window. Subtle but focused nose of flint and white peach. Opens up into a fairly focused, delicious mersault with flavors of white peach, pear, minerals and a touch of vanilla. Fairly straight ahead though and will have to see if it can develop more complex notes.
