45/39/12/4 Samso/Merlot/Cabernet/Cab Franc. Medium plus nose of black fruit, plus a different wood nose than normal (turns out it's 60/30/10 French/Hungarian/Romanian oak) that has a fun funkiness to it. Palette shows layers of dried, funky black fruit. Dried blackberry, black cherry, medium plus tannins. Maybe could open up a little, definitely promising for aging, this could develop into a very unique style. Interesting stuff.
Second taste with food showed development, sweet cedar, funky earth, something a fresh hay, bright fruit as well of light cassis, juicy blackberry.
