  • Clearing noted at rim with slight bricking. Nose was noted by multiple people as having fresh dill. Red fruit was noted, which was a bit surprising given the vintage being a lighter one. Mouthfeel was noted to be a little thin, which could be attributed to the vintage. Enjoyable.

  • Tasting note from earlier this year was spot on. Feminine, floral, loam, under-ripe cherry, raspberry and sandalwood. Great mouthfeel, light alcohol, 20+ second finish. Drinking great, sadly my last bottle. Really find I'm drawn to the "off vintages" in Oregon with the light alcohol.

  • PnP, consumed over several hours with the spouse. This got more alluring the longer it sat open. Light, elegant, feminine flower and soil with a lovely mix of sandalwood on the nose. On the palate tart cherry, raspberry, more soil and hints of sandalwood. Really lively mouthfeel. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

  • Brought to a restaurant, PnP, consumed with family and staff over 90+ minutes.

Nose peaked about 30 minutes after being opened. White pepper, tart red fruits (rhubarb, under-ripe strawberry, pomegranate come to mind) with a citrus back end. Nose went into hiding after 45 minutes or so.

On the palate light red fruits, mushroom, damp earth but clean tasting. Short finish. Definitely light and delicate.

Bottle showed 12.8%; I'd believe that. Overall was a little disappointed given previous the high bar an '11 Maresh vineyard had set.
