{screwcap, 13.5%} Plenty dark, plenty ripe (tastes hotter than the alcohol level indicates), but still rent with cool-climate olive and spearmint flavours. It tends to be big and clunky-tasting; there are no fine powdery tannins here. There's a big hole in the mid-palate - it defines hollow - and the finish is short/medium-length at best. Not otherwise quirky enough to overcome its shortcomings...
