Pop. Really dark in the glass totally black. The nose is screaming charcoal, black fruits, sweet blackberry jam and smoke. In the mouth It has a good dose of black fruits with a rush of acid and tannins that envelop your mouth. Nice. Blackberries are emerging prominently on the nose. Like opening a jar of jam. In just a few minutes this has calmed down and the nose has expanded to reveal much more dark fruits and caramel, lavender, rose pedals and brown sugar. Still a bit of tannins and acid that I think will recede with more time. The nose is getting sweeter. I like this a lot. Needs more time or longer decant. Today 91 with possibly upside Potential if it calms down a bit.

Tasted following 2011 Uber. 2012 has more fruit, less rustic than the 2011.
