Brownish garnet. Strawberry, cinnamon, and earth nose. Light to medium bodied, raspberries, dirty cherries, spices, white pepper, fully integrated tannins, a bit of heat, and a long woody finish. Good, but went through the palate a little too fast.

I am mixed on this wine. As a pinot it's very enjoyable but as a Willamette valley pinot, it's confused. 14.1% abv and lots of ripe fruit. There are some very nice high toned aromatics (spice and perfume) but not enough for me to endorse this.

A tart Pinot that opens up with air - but still seems a bit shrill, especially for the vintage. Light red in color, light in body, nose of cherry and gravel. Taste of tart cherry, red raspberry, and spice, with a somewhat abrasive finish. Decent, but not exciting.

Huge mushroom and cranberry/raspberry nose. Enough spice to add complexity. Palate is pomegranate, balanced acid, wet leaves, and generally delicious and mouthwatering. Hint of bitterness on the finish that went away with air. A delicious and nicely done Pinot. Want more.

light ruby color, red fruit perfume, red fruit flavors, bright acidity carries through the mid-palate, light tannins take it into the moderate to long powdered fruit finish.

I'm going to leave my last bottle of Siduri for a year or two. This one was good, but not as good as I had hoped it would be. Balanced, light, basic pinot, but not a lot of unique character.

Can't complain about the value as part of the BerserkerDay threefer, but across two or three nights this didn't really excite me. I didn't sense any of the delicacy and high-toned detail with which a few Oregonians have wowed me (most recently, a Matello). I'll aim to give my other bottles from this pack a few more years: this is certainly young for pinot, for me, which may not've helped matters.

Medium-dark black ruby. Great legs. Distinct and attractive cola note in the nose. Cherries, too. Good body and presence, rich and full, with good complexity for such a young wine. Well-balanced with fine acid to give it backbone. Finishes very nicely, with firm fruit on the back end. Still young, should age well. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

Decanted for about 2 hours. Dark garnet color with a nose of dusty earth, cranberries, and moss. Great entry with tart red berries and clove notes.Wonderful wine and the first 2012 Willamette Pinot we've had. If more of these follow it really is as good as they say.

Siduri Pinot Noir 2012: A dusty vegatal nose. Cherries and raspberries on the palate. A touch on the light side. This was the groups number 7, and my number 8.

Opened first bottle two nights ago. It was very tight and not much fruit showed. Opened up much more on nights two and three. On night three, great balance of cherry, strawberry, acid, and earth.

Bought a case of this on impulse after tasting it from the barrel as futures. Cracked the first of the bottles last night- wonderful nose, bright cherry though some bitterness I couldn't place. Tonight the bitterness is gone and is showing gobs of red fruit with a long finish.
Guessing the remaining bottles will benefit from some time in the cellar, and am very glad to have many of them to taste how it progresses over the years.
Unbelievable QPR.

In a very nice place. Acid is good, flavor great. It has a few more years for good drinking, but probably not improving at this point. Just steady.

Immediately on opening it's earthy, woodsy, and full of cherries and cranberries. Lost some of its interest with a couple hours of air.

More of the same... But I picked up a lot of pencil lead and pencil shavings. Not in a bad way. Delightful wine. Wish I had more.

Not sure what happened here, but this bottle had a very weird tang and a really crazy finish. Sampled over a couple of days and this is just off.
