Still rather tight and not what I expected for this wine. Menthol and rose on the nose; iron on the palate. Big, crisp acidity. The 1997 Cannubi-San Lorenzo Ravera suggests a need for several more years aging, but doesn't have the fruit to go the distance. Drink now.
