  • 100% Tempranillo matured for 12 months in new French oak barrels and then 12 months in bottle. Deep dark ruby red color. The scent of dark red berries and a great vanilla, leather and tobacco and hints of spice. Great pleasant acidity and soft integrated tannins. A structured wine with good length and delicious finish.

  • One of many wines ranging from passable, to unremarkable, to forgettable, or just not to my taste that I have sampled recently. The score will say it all!!

  • Came at the end of a very long wine dinner and thus not a good TN.
From memory, ripe and rich, quite oaky and modern in style. Will pay more attention next time...

  • Clear and brigh, deep ruby colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of dark plums, dark cherries, vanilla, cedar and liquorice. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium+ refreshing acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body and medium+ intensity flavours of dark plums, dark cherries, vanilla, cedar and liquorice. Long finish.

It is a very good quality wine with a nicefruit concentration, a lingering finish and great balance between tannins, fruit and alcohol. However it lacks complexity. The wine is too still too young, keep it for at least one year, and it has potential to develop more complexity over the next 10+ years.
