88? Are you kidding? Not for a wine of this quality, IMO. Ridiculous nose, flinty gunpowder edge, that gives way to caramelized brown sugar and tropical fruit. Pleasing acidity. Found this severely discounted... fools

Grilled salmon sitting on top of a grilled pineapple slice with an avocado sauce, very nice pairing with this Chardonnay. Walt La Brisa is a consistently good wine.

Holding up remarkably well. Still very fresh with a generous amount of clove spice to the nose and palate. Drink to 2022+.

Tropical fruit mentioned by others very obvious. Decent chard, a little bite, just OK for the price.

Nice overall wine. More tropical fruit than most Chardonnays. A little pricey but would probably buy it again.

It's Bogel Big, just with a lot more money in it. Alan notes the nice bright acid thing in it.

Big and tropical fruit on the nose. Rich on the palate, soft and easy, With Napa's sweetness. Even though its Sonoma. My mistake.

Silky and pleasant with some minerality. Better alone than with food. In this case it Chilean sea bass with lemon-butter sauce.

Nicely balanced and an easy drinker. Yellow citrus notes with a spice finish. The oak is integrated well.

RRV and Napa Visit; 7/7/2014-8/30/2014 (Napa and Sonoma): creamy with corn aromas. Subdued clove spice, palate is much more tuned up than the nose. Some wood grain to the palate.
