Tasty and very easy drinking. Glad I had this now rather than waiting as I don't see this improving with time as it's quite mellow already. Proportional and decently balanced. Delicate levels of acidity and tannins so it's fairly flat feeling, but with a good food pairing some light tart citrus liveliness can be stirred up. Definitely better with food. Medium bodied and quite fluid. Flavour has that raisin sensation going on, as expected, so that seems to be it's most distinguishing feature. There is a light sweetness to it that goes beyond simply feeling sweet. While in danger of being a bit too unremarkable, the agreeable and subtly interesting nature of the flavour just pulls it through – this time. Colour is a shade or two on the lighter side, though not quite rivaling Pinot Noir. Aroma is not very expressive, but does have some farm to it.

Mdeep clear red. Medium-full body with supple tannins. Black cherry and leathery tea on the palate with a moderate long finish. Hold the Amarone. This is for drinking now.

Clear ruby red in the glass with purplish magenta highlights. Full nose of leathery cherries and vanilla violets. Full-bodied palate of stewed black cherries and black leather with a hint of vanilla creme. Upper-moderate acidity and a lingering dark-ish finish. This won't last long enough for me to test its longevity, but I imagine it might yield good results through 2017. But longevity is why we buy Amarone from this region.

Clear deep ruby in the glass. Violets and peppery red fruits on the nose. Medium to medium-light body. Pomegranate cranberry with woody notes on the palate. Medium tannins. A bit of that Amarone bitterness on the back palate and medium finish. Drink by 2017 for best experience.

pleasant wine, doesn't need food, rather light in body and taste. light fruit, hint of leather. I don't think it will get any better.

Fresh and vibrant. Intriguing aromas with beautiful light cherry tea flavours. An incredibly versatile wine. Will last a few years but why risk it.
