By no means a world-class, old school wine, but there is some subtle similarities and certainly, what a difference from the other bottle I tried last September. Beautiful tannins. Lovely notes of moss , leather, and dirt on the nose. Similar tastes on the tongue as well. Color of the wine is starting to look like a well aged wine with subtle orange beginning to appear on the rim.

Swill. Bought two bottles at the Vineyard. I would say flawed, but that would be an improvement. I will attempt the other bottle at some point when I get brave enough.

Very impressed with this wine. Just a touch of East Coast green, rounded and full in flavor and sustain. Though mostly Merlot, the Cab Franc brings a good deal of spicy, slightly jammy edge. Nice firm tannins.
