Dark fruit, hints of chocolate and baking spices on the nose. Blackberries, cassis, hint of dark chocolate on the palate. Smooth mouth feel. Tannins are resolved, still with some acidity and slight heat on the finish.

Nose: Deep, dark fruits, chocolate, and mint aromas with some herbal elements. Palate: Very dark fruited with ripe plums, blackberries, spice and very present but evolved tannins. Finish is long. Much more representative than last bottle which was mildly corked. 91+ points.

Ageing nicely. Very fruit forward with some structure to match, but just a tad too sweet for my tastes for cab. High acid, oak/earth on nose, minimal aromatics. This drank better chilled.

Nose: An odd herbal quality almost makes me think this was corked. Dark fruits are under the off putting aromas. Palate: Despite the nose there are ample dark fruits and soft, round tannins. Good finish. Can't get past the odd nose so no score given. Hope next two bottles are better on the nose.

Medium-dark red. Cherries, blueberries, and raspberries. Cola, blueberries, blackberries, a bit of red funk, all on a velvety texture. Tasty, if bitter, finish of blackberry seeds. Not as good as the last time I tasted it.

As before no nose to speak of. Medium body adding weight the longer it was open. Purple to cherry at the rim. Smoothed out with a velvety mouth feel after about one hour. Lots of fruit ready to drink now with a few years left. finished a bit short.

Dark to ruby on the rim. Very little nose but some minerals. A lot of up front fruit. Medium body with a medium finish. After about an hour it seemed to close down and add weight. Much less developed than the last bottle I had the night before. This one I would save for several years the other I would drink immediately. One of the better regular bottling's of Clos pegs cabernet

Currant paste, black cherry, saw dust and rock. A medium finish and fine acidity. Round tannins and a medium body, that segues to a musical touch. Quite solid indeed. Drink now - 2021.

I had this side by side with a 2009 David Arthur Elevation 1147, and I preferred this bottle which was a fraction of the cost of the Elevation 1147. I let them both breathe for well over 3 hours, this wine is one of my personal favorites and especially at this price point vs. other high end cabs. Hints of olives, coffee, blackberries, and toast were present. Nice smooth long finish, I am never disappointed with Clos Pegase Cabs.

This wine looks dark plum colored. The legs are medium. It smells like olives, tobacco leaf, black cherry, espresso. It tastes like oak, cassis, bacon fat, and dark fruit. The body is full. The wine finishes long.

Delicious wine. Cherry, chocolate, berries. Delicious on its own and with the dry-aged steK (porterhouse: strip plus filet).
