  • Developing very nicely. Drank over two nights. Quite tannic the first night with very distinct Petit Verdot notes. Second night the tannins had mellowed nicely and the characteristics of the three grapes melded together very nicely. Lots of dried cherry and blueberry with nice earthiness. Dark purplish red in color. And this was from a Virginia vintage that was rather weak. Should continue to improve for a couple of years in the bottle.

  • Nice wine now but will probably improve with age. Some noticable tannins in base but not overwhelming. Dark color and dark, rich flavors. Starting to develop a velvety mouthfeel but I think it would get even richer with time.
