Near straw yellow. Looks very young. Oranges, flowers, spice and faint reduction on the nose. Roundish mouth feel with good well integrated acidity. Lemon pound cake and spice. I really like this. Last bottle of two.
From Dijon clone planted in 1995. Iron - rich, volcanic soils with basalt mother rocks. Whole cluster pressing. Gentle stirring of the lees during the barrel aging in French oak. Fermented indigenously. Aged in barrels for 11 months with 25% new oak, then further aged in tank for another five months , on lees.

Aromatic, with light tropical, stone fruit and citrus notes and a wonderful acidity and minerality that gives it structure and a pleasing finish. Would not have pegged this as new World Chard. Excellent.

A beautiful Chardonnay drinking perfectly now. A subtle citrus nose with a wonderfully full and silky palate. Paired with steamed lobster and did quite nicely.

Wonderful wine. The best white wine I have had in years. Paired with lobster tail and was exquisite. Have one more bottle left. Drinking beautifully now. Now sure if it will get any better.

Clear straw yellow with great clarity. Nose of citrus with pineapple and hints of peach.
On the palate this wine is very balanced and integrated. Nice fruit up front, smooth and textured mid palate and a nice finish of citrus and oak. Not a super long finish but very nice.

Very good Chard, but for me it was missing a bit more of fruit. Crisp and mineral. I have to admit, my experience with Oregonian Chard is limited, this wine was drinking well at 48-52 degrees. I like Chard at 58-62 temperature, this one didn't do well for me on the low 60ish - still a pleasure to drink - no wow factor.

A classy, light, and ultimately pleasing interpretation of Chardonnay. Light yellow in color, light in body, nose of almond and pear. Graceful tastes of grapefruit, pineapple, chalk, and pear, with a pleasant finish. 13.1% alcohol. A little thin (almost watery?) in the mid-palate and a little over-priced, but this is a satisfying example of Oregon Chardonnay. I actually preferred the (cheaper) Seven Springs, which seemed to bring more intensity.

Delicious! The wine is yellow gold with aromas of orange, honeydew, light toast and honeysuckle. Detected pear, apple and melon on the palate. A nice medium bodied wine with a creamy finish...excellent!

Pop & poured. Really nice balance of fruit, minerals & a touch of toast. Delicious now, though I believe it will get better with another year or 2 of cellar time.

This is as fine a Chardonnay as I have tasted, whether French or American. Fresh with spicy pineapple and pear and a great bright lingering finish. Dry, but with plenty of fruit. Has just enough toasty oak to body and flavor, but balanced by acidity. It gets better as it sits in the glass.

Restrained and elegant, with orange peel, basil, and lemon tart. Acids are a tad sharp to my palate, but the oak is wonderfully integrated and the wine moves to a persistent, creamy finish.

Rich, plush mouthfeel, multiple layers of flavor, and overall complex yet approachable. Sensual and enticing, plenty of deep tropical fruits with a tad of bright, crisp acidity and citrus notes. Long finish.

2014 Oregon Chardonnay Symposium (Stoller Family Estate): The nose is full, and complex with scents of popcorn, and trout roasted with lemon and a hint of butter all supported by sandstone minerality. Crisp acid with lemon character strikes the palate immediately on tasting. It's filled out with light flavors of buttered popcorn and complemented by green apples. Good acidity sinks into the gums as all of the flavors linger long. A good sensation of pure green apple rises briefly on the mid palate. As the flavors linger, the acidity holds on to dry things out in a big way. 89+ now, and I think integration with time will bring improvement.

Great tropical citrous notes. Light, precise, and a wonderful viscosity. One of the better Chardonnay's I've had this year.

Needs about 90 min to open up. Good balance and finish. This needs about another 2-3 years to reach prime. Good value. Excellent vintage.

This time the wine had a "bite" to it, & more acidic. Everyone thought it was off. Think it needs a year or 2 to evolve. Hold.
