Bought on a trip years back to the winery in Woodinville. Excellent Bordeaux style wine with tobacco, chocolate, deep dark cherry, opened up after decanting

This tasted fully mature. Nice nose of plum, cedar and smoky merlot. On the palate, spicy red fruit and more plum and black pepper. Finishes dark with a touch of woody bitterness, but very fine soft tannin. Wonderfully spicy, and paired very well with beef.

Double decanted and waited a couple of hours. This was not as interesting as I expected. It was served as an after dinner wine (after a 2012 Cameron Clos Electrique). The nose had well integrated oak, some smoke and graphite and loads of fruit. There was a fair amount of well delineated tannin on the finish. Reasonable acidity, and while this was fun to drink, it was less memorable than others we had tonight.

Pop n pour, very enjoyable. 1/4 bottle left for second day, did not last. Enjoy now with a quick decant.
