  • Great value blend. Smooth, subtle, almost neutral. blackberry and raspberry flavors.

  • A thinner vino. Color is just like the canned Thanksgiving cranberry jelly, and is about 30% opaque. The nose is distinctive chocolate mousse and dried leaves. Moderate time while forming legs. About 37.5-42.5% tannin (straight from the cork to the glass minus 10 minutes observation time).

30 minutes later the nose turns to black licorice. Not a lot of flavor on the front. A little warm on the finish. Not very complex. Not a lot going on here.

This wine was recommended to me by a store as a value wine. Hope it gets better. Won't buy again. Much better wines out there for the buck.

Mellows out after 2 hour decant, still weak... water has more flavor.
