Very nice wine with nice fruit and very good balance. My only disappointment was the very short finish and lack of complexity. Clearly a wine on it's last legs. Wish I had drank it a few years ago when I got the 6 year vertical.

Nicely aged at this point. Very dark garnet red color, with the brownish hues around the fringe marking the aged characteristic. Big cherry, blackberry, and creamy oak on the nose. The taste adds a bit of cedar, black raspberry and light hints chocolate and fine tobacco. The mouth feel is velvety and has depth. Very well balance of tannins and acid. Had with Filet Mignon and Chilean Sea Bass. Excellent.

Popped and poured. Not too much on the nose. Soft mouth-feel with black currants, black raspberries, and cigar. Not too tannic, but a bit tart. Finish is rather bitter a hot. Hopefully time will do this wine some good. At $45, I was a bit disappointed. I would recommend the 2004 that I drank a month and a half ago over this one.

Nice cabernet sauvignon. Polished tannins. Probably around its peak now.

No notes. Very approachable at the moment. Earthy, well integrated fruit.

I think this wine is a baby- needs some time to develop.
