Has it really been four years since my last bottle of this? Well. I can see why some might have called this "muted" up front, but with some swirling (or better yet, a day open) this unfurls in the glass with just classic Puligny essence and flavor. It's medium big, but sharpened to just the right point by the saline acid and, at this stage perhaps, time? A classic 2012, in other words. Still feeling very youthful, and quite enjoyable, but there's absolutely no rush on these. Will only gain complexity for the forseeable future. Glad I still have a handful.

Muted nose of lemon and honeydew. Beautiful palate. Lemon, lime, spice, gravel, almond paste, and vanilla. Tons of acid on the finish. Wish I had more - to age.

I don't think I've ever had a better ~$30 WB. Very reflective of the vintage in terms of character and quality. Drinking very well now (better on 2nd & 3rd days open), but greatly looking forward to seeing how these develop.

Watt's Grocery Breakfast for Dinner (Watt's Grocery Durham NC): 2nd Course, paired with poached lobster and asparagus Benedict with house made hollandaise. Classic white burg; apples and pear with oak toast and vanilla-butterscotch hints. Solid structure and length, handles the creamy benedict-lobster-hollandaise expertly.

This is without doubt a good wine. Very young and should earn a lot from cellering. I must say I'm a little bit disappointed though the previous vintages (2008, 2009 and 2010, haven't tried 2011) has been better from the start.

Not as alive as the previous bottle, but still lovely. Hey. Wine is like that, man.

Still early, but very good. Light straw, pear and good minerality. A good QPR.

Too young. Quality is obvious, but hard to tell how good this will turn out.
