Color, clear red with copper hue. 1st nose, vanilla and spices. 2nd nose, alcohol. On the palate, medium to big body with great fruit and tannins balance. I think it is at its peak.

Color, deep clear red; 1st nose, raisins and fruits; 2nd nose, liquor, anise; on the palate, medium body with slight sweetness, red fruits, notes of balsamic vinegar and medium finish. Not an example of a big Amarone.

Very disappointing. Carries a 92 from WA, but I found it to be completely flavorless. Waste of time, money and calories. When the label says Amarone, your mouth begins to water. In this case, the wine actually tastes like water. Belch!
Decanted sealed for 3 hours which for us usually works well with Amarones, but this one did not seem to flourish. We weren't home to taste along the way so may have missed the window. Perhaps this is a pop n pour?
Offered a more mineral and vegetal flavor and lacked some of the deep earthy, woody, cherryness we appreciate. That said, it went very well with pasta a la vodka with which we would typically not drink Amarone. So all worked out in the end.

On the lighter side of full bodied. Raisin. cherries and
black pepper notes, solid tannins and smooth consistency, balsamic finish.

Medium to full bodied Amarone. Hint of raisin and blue berries. Good for the price point.

Ruby red color. Dried cherry, earth notes. Cherry flavors with acidity on finish. Good price value for Amarone.

Delicious on the pop, does not need time in air to be enjoyed. Enjoy over an hour or two. It's in a good drinking window right now.

There was a component of burnt rubber running through the wine that degraded the profile a bit and took the wine down a notch in terms of enjoyment
