  • A wine that continues to evolve from simple cherry to deeper earth tones to some spice and tartness. Beautiful light ruby red pinot color, aging quickly. Nose of forest floor, mushrooms, dark cherry fruit, spice, medium mouth feel, tart acid, soft tannin. Unfortunately, a bitterness kicks in on the moedium length finish and overwhelms the fruit. Otherwise, a well-made wine from a mountain site, intense and assertive rather than elegant.
