A Birthday at Yann's (Flatiron, NYC): Gold. Classic brioche nose, fairly involved, seemingly; shows a little citrus and a little pinapple, too. Palate shows a little more age than the nose, very fine, focusing acidity, and loads of fruit. Quite firm. Good to excellent length. Delicious.

Now very mature, with a oxidative tones, but still an excellent full flavoured champagne.

Powerful and mature - perhaps just past its peak but still wonderful - rich toasty finish

The Oddbins Old World Wine Fair; 5/16/1992-5/17/1992 (London): Markedly superior to the non vintage. It has a good, slight mousse, and a nice bready character on the nose. Very Good Indeed.
