Opened this bottle to toast the late Judge Royce Lewellen on who died on 9/2. I served it well chilled and it paired nicely with veggie burgers, fried onions and Dijon mustard. It has lost some of its freshness and fruit but this bottle was better than the one I noted last Fall.

Popped and poured at cellar temperature to pair with grilled turkey burgers, hoping for the same result I had with this wine last summer. Unfortunately, this past year has taken its toll- this wine is not attractive. Fortunately, I had a chilled bottle of Chenin Blanc ready. I am not sure additional chilling would have helped. I will try that with my last bottle and report back if that is the case. I would consider the most recent vintage of this rose. It was an exceptional value.
