My favorite of any cuvee from PG since I first tasted these, although that's a pretty low bar. Nice balance, light, good flavors and nice finish. Simple good drinking. Held up well over 3 nights under pump.

Much better than my notes from 3 years ago. Time seems to have helped. Not a great Pinot, but very nice drinking and obviously quality stuff. Drink anytime.

Tasting at Patricia Green Cellars (Chehalem Mountain): Winery tasting. Full, gorgeous burg-like nose with earth, mushroom, merde, old leather and cherries. The palate is equally delicious with earthy fruit, tar notes and sandalwood spice. Good concentration and structure. One to lay down. Upside from here.

A little disappointing. Heavy on the acid, light on the fruit. May get more in balance over time; drank a 2006 not long ago and it was great. Recommend a couple year wait.

showing more whole cluster in the nose again. The 2013 Reserve, yes. The 2013 Estate and Estate Old Vine, not as much. But again here. Difference here, is this has more texture to absorb the whole cluster, where as with the Reserve, not so much. A very Burg approach for OR. Bonshaw is a block at the Estate Vineyard. This is the only section that is all south facing. The warmest block. SB get other south facing exposure. Bonshaw was a name picked out by the third partner at the estate (the one with the $$$.) Planted in 1990.

Very nice, silky, sweet red fruited Pinot with a savory edge on the palate. Nice balance, drinking well now and at peak.

Popped and poured, note taken about 60 minutes after popping.
Wine is a brick crimson with a clear rim.
On nose we have strawberries, cherries, bay leaf and baking spices, but attenuated by a hint of barnyard and darker stewed overtone.
On palate, wine is sound. Strong acid core that may be a bit out of balance. Palate echoes nose and ends clean.
Nice wine!
