Very tertiary, as you would expect from a decade-old SB. And very enchanting. Heavy dose of crème brûlée and butterscotch in both the nose and palate, with no discernible minerals or much fruit left. Certainly in its drink-me-now phase. For fans of aged whites. Worth Seeking Out.

One and only bottle haul back from winery - it was well worth it. Inviting citrus aroma, a little herbs and spice. On the palate, it was refreshing yet intense, bursting ripe fruits, some pear & lime, stone/minerals, med+ body, med+ length finish. As the night progresses, got more pineapple & tropical fruits. USD 28 at the winery, lovely wine, we like it a lot

Anything Goes When Thai Food and Wine Collide - NYC Wine Tasting Group (Kuma Inn, NY, NY): The nose on this wine was pungent, hints of lemongrass, dirty socks and skunk spray. Not for the faint hearted. Some people were put off by the smell, but on the palette the wine was much more composed, a little towards the dry side but not tannic, balanced, light, some citrus. I don't think I would buy again.

Lots of minerality on the nose, along with citrus and a strong basil note. The palate skews slightly more tropical, but it remains grounded with wet stones and a pithy grapefruit flavor. Decently long, mouth watering, finish. Very good sauvignon blanc, but I still prefer their single vineyard wines.

First glass was a bit minerally & tart citrus. Then it opened up with nice fruit & citrus tastes with some honeysuckle-like qualities (smooth on the tongue).

Aroma: strong cat pee aroma with green herbs, grass and gooseberry. Palate: unusually rich for a SB with exotic grassy and herbaceous notes. Crisp underlying acidity. Not overtly fruity.

Grassy aromas with juniper and ruby grapefruit, followed by a full fruited palate with ample energy and snap to balance it out. I would drink this young and fresh. Went well with a cilantro heavy Chicken Mole.

Clear yellow with medium viscosity in the glass. Nose of fleshy tropical fruit, juicy pear, citrus, wet grass, flowers and honey. Medium body and juicy with chewy tropical fruit, stone fruit, citrus, nectar, and sweet grass on the palate. Mouthwatering, fleshy fruit and secondary spice. Medium finish.

A winner (and QPR), year in and year out. No exception, this bottle showed ripe citrus and grass notes, with bright acidity and a crisp finish.

Crisp wine. Hints of pineapple and passion fruit on the backside. Love the area - like the wine. Well done boys.
