Pop and pour, drank half the bottle over 2 hours. I feel like this pinot has one foot in Oregon and one foot in Sonoma, and I'm wondering if some of that is due to the large fruit from the 2012 vintage. I felt the same about this producers La Contrada bordeaux blend, purportedly from Walla Walla. I'd like to try a pinot from this producer in a cooler vintage.

This bottle decanted. The extra air made a big difference to the fruit impact.
A few grains of sediment.
Cherry acidity with a touch of barnyard, bottle variation making this one seem to have a lot more life left than one tasted last week from the same source

Picked this up on our swing through Woodinville this past March. This pinot is on the lighter side of the spectrum. Pleasant cherry flavors with a bit of earthiness. Not particularly complex but enjoyable nonetheless.

Vibrant, fruit forward, and earthy. The bouquet and palate feature hints of menthol and orange peel, along with crunch red berries and lively acids. The class Pinot Noir of a Lachini flight.

Open three hours, decanted one hour, served low 60’s F
High acidity: a food wine. This (last) bottle probably fresher than one drunk a year ago - significant bottle variation

Drinking really well now. Ages fairly quickly, so now would be the time. Cheers!

Nice flavors of cherry, hint of deeper cassis and well rounded mouth feel make this as much a winner as a chicken dinner. Gobble it up.
