Last of my 6 bottles. All good with no faults and were consistent. Nose of well-integrated oak with some cinnamon and cloves and ripe red/black currents. A very soft and caressing mid palate filled with Pinot fruit. Not the longest finish but oh so yummy, from a not so great vintage. Had a tad of DRC feel from it. Wish I had more. Purchased before Cathiard wines got really expensive.

This bottle was beautifully perfumed with a floral bouquet intermixed with exotic spice notes and warming dark fruit. Very complex and balanced and drinking well right from opening.

Good balance and length, hallmark Reignots silkiness. No green streak as many '04's have, but not terribly complex either. Big step up from the Californicated '03, not as good as Liger-Belair's '04 Reignots. B-

2021 New Year's Celebration Tasting (Private Cellar): PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass ("Fruit" day): Pale ruby with garnet hues to the eyes.
Smoke, cigarettes, a little mossy.
More acidity driven. Really a nice and enjoyable wine.
93-94 points. Reserved for observations.
A lot more integration in second round. More angelica roots. Really rich for this vintage. 94-95 points.
More and more green bell peppers on the third round. Really well integrated and enjoyable now.

Grassy and wet cardboard. The wine was heated at some point.
