Well, does this guy see some skin contact or what? Copper in color, rich in structure and density.
So I am being told that this wine speaks of varietal. And the color expresses that -- the vintner does nothing different its just that the grapes gives this color to the wines.
Chewy, in a delightful way. Meaning, good, intense, aging well, and more elegant too.
All in stainless, frequent battonage, hey, for an orange wine this is rather delicious stuff. And the lees stay there until the wine is bottled.

Between Straw yellow and pale gold in color. On the nose, it's relatively ripe and tropical, with fruit aromas of peach, melon, and waxy apple skin. There's a wooly character to the bouquet as well, honey, and a chalky/flinty mineral note. Quite expressive for a pinot grigio. At first, it seems like the palate isn't going to follow through, giving a diffuse, watery first impression and a somewhat limp texture. But just before you swallow the intensity starts to pick up, and then on the finish the wine bursts to life, with juicy mango and pineapple fruit backed with a pleasantly bitter mineral streak, raw honey, and a floral spiciness. Goes on and on and the flavor seems to coat the whole mouth. Quite an amazing transformation. This wine turned out to be so much more than I was expecting---definitely the best wine I've had from this grape, and reminds me somewhat of fine Hungarian dry furmint. Outstanding.
