  • Popped and slow-oxed for about 10 minutes. Initial pour has a wine that is deep garnet to the edge of the glass. Initial aromas of tart, dark cherry and perhaps raspberry. Initially leaning more mouth-watering acidity on the palate with cherry and raspberry flavors and small amount of tannin at the finish. Some spice notes were noticeable after being open for 45 minutes. Tasty, medium bodied and balanced. Drank with grilled burgers, brown rice and a salad with homemade lemon vinaigrette.
