Pronounced nose of red and black berry fruits with ash, leather and pepper. Just a hint of rose petals.
The palate bursts with fresh red cherries, vanilla, raspberries. Bright acidity lifts the mid-palate, with varietal earth and herbaceousness. Fine tannins follow through a lingering, elegant and feminine finish. Just a touch of the Old World, but a superbly balanced wine.

medium Ruby to purple with a nice aroma of flowers, blackberry, plum, oak, black pepper. Medium body with soft tannins with an earthy, forest floor and medium length. Could very well be a pleasing, easy-drinking spring red wine (maybe cool to 55-60F) for serving. I wouldn't hold it in my cellar any longer as seems like at prime if not past prime.

Wine.com had some back vintages of Spring Valley Vineyards available, at least for those on the West Coast. I had to grab this one from the great Washington vintage of 2012.
I also bought a 2014 Uriah. It was good, but you could still taste some oak, if you weren't willing to have it open for a few hours. While the tannin structure didn't necessarily indicate it needed more time, the oak suggested it might benefit from more time in your cellar.
This 2012 Cabernet Franc is definitely ready to drink. You can pour right away after opening if you like. Nice bright and floral fruit on the nose, along with some classic Cab Franc dried herbs. Maybe just a hint of almonds, vanilla, or butterscotch on the nose as well.
The wine tasted pretty closely to how it smelled. Graceful fruit with long length. You don't taste wood on the finish. Rather, it expresses itself as a bit of vanilla and butterscotch.
This is a pretty, elegant, delicious, and food friendly wine at this point. If you have one, feel free to open it up!

Deep purple hue that opens with dried herbs and floral aromas. Red plum and peppercorn on the palate with a lingering finish of almond and cedar. In its prime drinking window, with softer tannins and medium acidity. Paired nicely with grilled pork tenderloin.

- It's balanced with a full body. Juicy texture with a long finish - This is the best Cab Franc we have tasted in over 20 years, our score of 95 is a complimentary to the wine maker at Spring Valley in WallaWalla Wa.

I took this to a friends 11/2/18 Cab Franc tasting. It had a deep, rich, expressive nose of earth, black cherry, raspberry, mocha, cocoa, anise and spice aromas. The palate was taut, elegant and dry with flavors of mocha, cocoa, black cherry, raspberry, red licorice, herb and spice.

Floral nose with almost a sweet terrior An array of dark fruits also a present but fleeting Nice tannic structure carries the fruit across the palate Lingeres longer than most Francs, easy but full bodied with slight white pepper, dark fruit, and possibly plum or raisin finish. Great and bold starter wine to hit cabs with the next course. Possibly drink with cheddar, feta, and port salute cheeses.

Poor notes but this was a very solid wine. I decanted for about 30-60 minutes but it was open and ready to play immediately. I recall and earthiness and floral note but most notable was the soft, smooth tannins followed by an acidic backbone on the medium finish. It kept me coming back for more.
