Decanted for 40 minutes during which the wine opened and darkened from a medium garnet to a dark garnet. The wine is a blend of 90% Grenache + 10% Syrah. On the medium bodied palate there was a preponderance of darker earthy notes, along with some red fruit (cherry) and spice. The acidity was more than needed to balance. The presence of high earth notes and high acidity are a sure sign of age, so drink up soon.

Nice bright and vibrant wine with wild berry and raspberry fruit. Has notes of earth and minerals on the mid-palate with subtle caramel on the finish. Nice smooth texture to it with good acidity and finish.

Popped and poured, drank over 2 nights. Bright red fruit profile on the nose and palate. The oak was prominent initially but quickly faded into the background. Smooth texture, nice finish. Really nice bottle.

Grenache doesn't get much better than this! Drinking so fresh and smooth right now, this can easily last many more years and become such a delicate silky wine.

A blockbuster offering from Paso. An unbelievable nose and taste of blueberries with some light cream on the secondary palate. There's a wonderful balance to this wine with a long lasting finish. A crowd favorite. Drinking fine now but should hold up for several more years.

Typical Paso grenache flavors, think Herman Story On the Road. Chocolatey. Needed a few hours to open up. In a good place now.
