A bit heavy on the wood, this reminded me some of the Quilceda CVR, minus the terroir / refinement. It got better on night two, mellowing out from the oak enough to be a pleasant sipper.

This is a great value indeed. Deep cassis and other red fruits with a long finish and just the right touch of oak. It is not complex, but it does the important things well.

Nice wine. Good QPR. Very true to the house style. Smooth, nice tannin management, nice complexity. Opened up over the course of dinner so has promise for short term aging. Would buy again.

Not bad. Not great. A thoroughly undistinguished Washington red blend. Rather disappointing given that it is from a great vintage and excellent region (Red Mountain).

The blend makes a lot of sense to my palate. Just an easy drinking, medium to full bodied, pnp style red that goes down easily. At $22 it's a fair QPR and a good cellar defender. Thanks, DP!

375ml format. Red and black cherry, tobacco, dark berries, and earth on the nose. Red cherries, tart cherries, earth, cassis, and a bit of vanilla on the palate. Juicy acidity, somewhat firm grippy tannins, good finish. This is a really nice wine. Delicious, approachable, and very affordable.

A bit young. Needs an hour and a half decant. Rich dark cherry dominates the palate, a little reminiscent of a red tootsie pop. Some mild cedar and a hint of tobacco.

Still a bit tannic, but they are not harsh. So drinking well overall but has room for additional aging.

Not bad, decent balance but seemed a bit over oaked.
