Great bottle. Slightly muted on the nose. Palate had raspberry and cherry notes. The palate was smooth as could be. Really pleasant finish with just the right amount of acidity. Could likely have waited another few years but it was drinking perfectly tonight. My lone bottle and it was a bottle purchased at auction. Exceptional QPR. I would purchase again if given the opportunity.

Unscrewed and poured. Good, solid pinot, on the austere side, nothing outstanding. Quite dark raspberry. A bit short of opaque. Light black cherry aromas. Savory fruit in the mouth, decent balance, probably better with a bit more age, or with food. House style in evidence. 4-11-14-7: 86/100.

Opened for an hour before drinking. Drinking nicely, but has the potential to benefit from another year or two in the bottle. Nose dominated by cedar and woods notes, some dark fruit (plums, blackberries). On the palate the above are still there but strawberries become a more assertive presence. Long finish. Paired it with lamb in a sauce with dried cherries, which helpfully brought out some of the sweeter fruit notes, which are present but subdued. Overall a very solid, well-made Pinot.

Decanted for thirty minutes before tasting. Initially some tart fruit on nose and palate, but after another thirty minutes, the cranberry-apple tartness was nicely countered with a touch of strawberry sweetness. Good depth and fairly long finish. Nice pinot, somewhere between 90-91.

Tasted double blind, able to ID it as a SLH but couldn't pinpoint the vineyard. Pours purplish red. Nose of white pepper, Worcestershire sauce, sweetness if that makes sense- intoxicating aromas, my favorite aspect of the wine. Juicy fruit and salinity on the palate.

My club shipment arrived today and included this wine. Didn't let it rest or recover from any bottle shock it may have had from its origin (the winery) 650 miles away. Strong red though see-through all the way. Legs good, not great. Nose is the best part: floral, rich black cherries, forward. Good in the mouth, but right now a little tight, acidic, and short. Clipped finish. I suspect this will improve significantly with a little more time in bottle. For now, 4-13-14-7: 88/100.

Red cherry, cranberry, and plum fruit. Notes of cedar, spice, earth, and subtle caramel. Nice acidity and finish.

Strawberries and cinnamon. Pleasant but unremarkable. Think it was better a year ago.
