Bordeaux vs Cal (Bordeaux Blends) - $20 to $40 (Trent's): I liked this one. Apparently a non-vintage blend. Purple in color. THe nose has plums, coffee grounds and dark cherries. On the palate, there is a juicy acidity. Dark cherry and plum flavors. A nice depth and long finish. More complex than most of the wines on the table. Perhaps from a blend of grapes and vintages. For $25 OHIO, this is very nice.

Wine Advocate 91 Points A Bordeaux-style blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 4% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot, it is a deep, delicious, full-bodied, 5,000-case cuvée boasting a dark ruby/purple color as well as attractive notes of cassis, dusty, loamy soil and foresty undertones. Lush and heady, it is ideal for drinking 2015-2026.

4 Bordeaux blend. Well structured, tannins a little wound up (a few more years would likely serve well), but still very pleasing today. A wonderful, honest density of fruit. My personal favorite this year from Marietta Cellars.

Decant for at least 2 hours if drinking now! Lots of black fruit, very ripe. Hot finish. Might settle down in a few years.

Leather, tobacco, black cherry, moderately juicy with dusty tannins, touch of grape-gum, malbec-like. CS, Mer, Mal, PV

Again rich, glossy fruit. Tannic, drying, a bit blunt, heavy, decent length. 86-88

Wow. What a horrible change in terms of label and dropping the vintage.
Smells like a really strong ginger snap cookie. And then is hot on the finish. And kinda bitter.
