Don't know if the lot I bought was badly stored or if this wine doesn't have the stuffing to age and mature. It's going nowhere from here, and while some bottles hint at mature claret, some are just past it. No more.

What a wonderful Merlot based Right Bank Bordeaux. Drinking very well with a very aromatic nose and displaying flavors of smokey red cherries, spicy red berries, slightly tart plum, some green leafiness, velvety chocolate, and some new leather. Balanced structure and acidity leading to a long solid finish. The drinking window should go through 2018-2020 if cellared properly.

It's been 4 years since anyone has posted any tasting notes on this. I've been sitting on two bottles of this just waiting for an appropriate time. Decanted for 2 hours to ensure it had time to open, no noticeable sediment when poured into decanter. Characteristic floral nose and flavors showing plenty of tobacco, vanilla, spicy red currant, juicy plum, and an underlying earthiness. Tastes like it has a high percentage of Merlot; but displays complexity. Approachable, and smooth with a velvety mouthfeel. Excellent finish that lingers for a while. I think this will only get better for the next four to five years. Pairs well with grilled red meat.

Decant for 4 hrs. Color was a nice dark ruby. Aromas of stewed red + blue fruits, some mild spices and a touch of alcohol heat. Good dark fruit flavors up front with hints of vegetables and earth on the middle and tail end. Moderate to full tannins are still evident and this has a nice, long finish. Overall it was very good.

This last one was okay, better on the nose than the palate. But going nowhere but down from here.
