Tasted at the winery. Light yellow color. This wine is still evolving and getting more expansive. Floral nose. Minerally with pear and leesy notes. 91 points.

Another Wyncroft Winery Visit; 7/5/2017-7/6/2017 (Pullman, Michigan): Tasted at the winery. 4th time I have had this wine. Made from 27 year old vines. Light yellow color. Dry styled. Some petrol on the nose. Notes of grapefruit and minerals. The acidity seemed a little lower in this bottle. Fuller bodied Riesling. 87 points.

Tasted from bottle at the winery. 3rd time I have had this. Made from Riesling Clone 110. Bone dry. Austrian in style. An earthy core with a fine minerality and notes of pears. It has integrated and mellowed a bit since I first had it 2 years ago. 88-89 points.

Wyncroft Winery Visit (Michigan): Brief impression only, tasted after the icewine. Aromas of unripe peach and basil with a savory edge on the palate. as enough acidity and a nice finish.

2014 Wyncroft Winery Visit (Michigan); 9/7/2014-9/10/2014 (South Haven, Michigan): Tasted from bottle at the winery. Not labelled yet. This could be his best dry Riesling yet with a little development in bottle. Only the 1999 Avonlea Riesling got a higher score from me. This was only bottled a week ago and Jim said it went into a little shock afterward. I'm reluctant to say this but this bottle reminded me of an FX Pichler wine. This had light feet with lemon zest and stony notes. Excellent acidity which I suppose should be expected at such a young age. Fine minerality and some white pepper on the finish. 90-91+ points.

2015 Wyncroft Winery Visit (Michigan) (7 potentially 90+ wines with 1 classic 95 pointer); 8/29/2015-9/1/2015 (Wyncroft Winery, South Haven, Michigan): Tasted from bottle at the winery. We tried this after the reds. This wine took longer to ferment and as a result received extended lees contact. A savory wine with a leesy character and notes of citrus, wet stones and white fruit. Tasted leaner than when I had this last year. No score because of tasting this out of order. However, when I had this last year I thought it could be the best Riesling Jim has made.
