39 months later: upon opening there was a somewhat bitter edge, and the wine was surprisingly muddy and rather unfocused. Nice acidity, though. These attributes became less enjoyable and more pronounced over several days. After a week, we gave up.

Golden. Clearly oxidative from the first sniff. Beautifully nutty, bracing acidity, and a touch of apples. It evolved over three nights, refrigerated but not gassed in between, and certainly never got tired. Fine example and very enjoyable.

Three months later: we opened and this time enjoyed this, our final bottle. It was a bit more lively and focused, holding well over four nights.
