Color pale yellow. Nose of strong citrus with grapefruit dominating with a floral touch. Acid almost overwhelming at times but palate has citrus and cantaloupe? Crisp finish. Not much going on but what do you want for 11$. Always a hit with the non wine drinking crowd.

One of the better values in the Marlborough genre. Pours a light yellow with a slight green hue. Lime, grapefruit, green grass- has all the acidity I crave with this style. Super food friendly- great with spicy Indian fare. Never disappoints.

Light straw color. Wonderful aromas and flavors of grapefruit, lime, and grass. Excellent with food or on its own. Another winner for Brancott. Top of NZ sauvignon blanc at this price range.

Pronounced nose, notes of green fruits, herbal fresh grass notes, leafy, passion fruit. Palate is dry, high acid, medium+ intensity, notes of passion fruit, green apple, lime, grass. Good typicity, but very linear.

An easy-drinking, fresh SB full of grapefruit, lychee and green (capsicum, grass, tomato leaf). There's a drying quality to this wine, which is okay - but reminds me of "dry white" cask wine.
Good QPR but only for a few more dollars, there are better, fruitier, more complex choices.

Typical NZ sauvignon blanc. Not quite in your face aromas of grapefruit and grass, but definitely there. Moderate plus acid paired well with smoked cheese and assorted veggies. Nothing to write home about, but unbeatable at the price!

Pale yellow color. Clean. Lemon juice and fresh cut grass on a sunny morning kinda smell. Semi-dry, light bodies wine with good acidity. Low alcohol. Easy wine to drink with good flavors of zesty lemon and lime. Refreshing on a hot summer day. Recommended

PKBOWEN's tasting note is spot-on. This warrants an 88 because of the exceptional qpr. Paired with grilled ahi tuna and creamy wasabi, shiitake mushroom, Napa cabbage slaw. Delicious. Enjoyed second bottle on 8.8.15 and this is still freshly grassy, grapefruity, lemony, green apply, effervescent, refreshing and delicious. Third on 12.25.15 with seared bacon-fat scallops and green olive, roasted red pepper, caper tapenade. Delicious.
PnP at refrigerator temperature. Presents as a very pale yellow with some green highlights. On the nose it is driven by aromas of fruit cocktail (white grapes, peach, pineapple), cherry blossom, and a grassy undertone. The abundance of ripe fruit might lead one to expect a flabby structure on the palate, but that is not the case. It enters with an effervescent, drying acidic attack full of green grass, grapefruit, and pineapple flavors backed by stony minerality. The midpalate is a bit hollow and driven by stone fruit flavors. The finish is quite short and still drying.
This is a solid effort for $10, and the effervescent attack puts this firmly into "re-buy" territory for us. Paired well with feta cheese and crackers. "Very good," 86/100.

This wine has a clear pale lemon color. It's clean on the nose and youthful with notes of asparagus, grass, green pepper, lime zest and a hint of elderflower (no signs of barrel aging). The wine is dry with high acidity, medium alcohol and a medium (+) body. It is a very good wine with a superb balance of all its elements. The recommendation is to drink it now, but it surely has a shelf life until the end of 2015.

Compared to some norm of all NZ SB, this is on the not-sweet-but-not-really-dry side, with some grapefruit and other notes. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it's very pleasant. But, it doesn't have that semi-austere very dry rarefied profile that seems to be what commands higher prices, for reasons I don't quite follow. I think it's better than the 2013, but it's hard to remember. At $9, an excellent value of the "go buy another whole case" variety.

Amarelo palha bastante claro. Sem efervescência. Aroma frutado, notas de pêssego, papaya e maracujá. Na boca é refrescante, até parece que tem bolhas. Leve. Persistência média.

Too much grapefruit on the nose, midpallet non existent and finish had a twang.

Juicy and simple NZ sauvignon blanc, aimed at the passionfruit/pineapple end of the flavor arc, lively acidity, delicious with herbal or spiced fish.

Big apple and passionfruit aromas. Not as sharp as other NZ sauvignons, more of a pommelo than a grapefruit. Nice and round, with good structure.
