Amber with a savoury and little spirity nose. The palate has umami with a walnut and hazelnut, zesty orange with great intensity. So much wine for the money.

This is a very fine sherry. As much intensity as you’d want without the pain. Nutty and dried fruit. Dryish but with the edge taken off. Classic Oloroso, which is always more about flavour than aroma.

An off-sweet blend of sherry and px. A bit sweet for my taste, but I understand the appeal. Plenty of complexity.

The Wine Society - Sherry Workshop with Peter Dauthieu (Merchant Taylors' Hall): A nosegay of sweet burnt treacle, nutty with dried fruit notes.
A taste of dried fruit, very long.
