Still very nice after all this time. Hints of plum and cherry, blackberry and a bit of cedar. Bouquet hints of tobacco. Tannins have softened considerably. Nicely balanced. It may be past it’s prime but it’s still a very nice wine. It’s exceptional at its price point. Glad we still have a few bottles.

Quite flat when first opened, but opened nicely after half an hour or so. Im sure its best days are behind it but still very drinkable. Im very impressed by its long, sweet length and silky tannins. Drink soon, but far from past.

gift from Ralf! opened and poured immediately. still very dark with 2 mm flare on the rim. raisin, blueberry, dried cherries, rum, vegetable broth, some phenolic notes. substantial on the palate with good integration of fruit, secondary aromas and acidity. tannins guarantee another 5-8 years. very good.

Not rated - this was too closed to judge. Only character on the nose was hints of mint; on the palate, there was a jumble of tightly wrapped fruit that left no clear impressions. Will be a great wine eventually - as tight as it is, there is a suppleness to the texture and a length to it that shows the future greatness, but needs time to evolve.

This was a very nice wine. Tyee brought it to Las Vegas. Not a big tanninc Aussie fruit bomb like I expected. A good round texture with copious red fruit. Well balanced and a long finish. 93 points.

This was my WOTN !! The nose was filled with chocolatey coffee, plasticine oak, black bing cherry fruit. a silky palate with nicely integrated tannins. It's not as complex as the Dead Arms, but it is a beautiful wine none-the-less.

Bottle from the personal cellar of Walt Nagy. Bright disc. Opaque purple/black robe with purple rim. Clean nose, showing very intense spearmint, black cherry, currants, earth, cedar and oak. Full-bodied on the palate, with ample but very supple tannins. Similar flavors as nose. Long, smooth finish. Beautiful, reminiscent of young Silver Oak Cabernet from an excellent vintage.
