Loads of grass, grapefruit and green vegetables on the nose. The grapefruit continued on the palate with eye-watering acidity but a reasonably full mouthfeel. The finish was steely with hints of kiwi. Pleasant drinking all-around, but when it warmed up a bit the boquet became almost rank - like smelly French cheese. Keep this one cold.

Clear, pale lemon-green colour with presence of legs. Clean nose in a developing stage, medium+ intensity with aromas of asparagus, peas, fresh grass, ripe citrus and hints of mango. Off-dry in the mouth, medium+ refreshing acidity, medium delicate alcohol, medium- body and medium+ intensity flavours of ripe passion fruit, asparagus, peas, ripe lime, mango, grass and white flowers. Medium+ finish. Good quality wine, can drink now but has potential for further ageing.

Another decent Marlborough. I almost write that as though I am getting bored with Marlborough- a possibility I suppose. This pours a pale yellow with a hint of green. The nose is lemon/lime/ mineral. There is decent acidity on the palate; green apple, citrus and passionfruit. Could be the last one that is throwing me off on the finish - nice crisp M style, but something that makes it not my favourite example from this region. Sort of stays with me - hangs on like an unwanted dinner guest. For the same price, there are other Marlborough wines I would buy over this one.

Blackcurrant aroma, grapefruit aftertaste, on the stronger side of NZ Sauvignon Blancs, excellent for a warm spring day if adequately chilled - below normal.

Grapefruit and a bit of stoney minerality exploding all over the mouth, clean and crisp with a nice finish. We have shrimp and chicken on the grill, along with some peppers and onions for fajitas. This is going to be good.
I probably over-paid, based on the other prices I see here, but as a Pennsylvanian shopping for wine in CA, it was a kick to discuss the wine with the proprietor, learn something about it, then go home and enjoy it over dinner.

This one definitely has a heavy duty dose of Granny Smith apple acidity, possibly the most I have ever experienced from a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Too much acid for my palate, but I can understand why many would like this. There is lots to appreciate here. There is none of that "eau de gato" aroma. The grassy herbaceousness is very subdued, and almost not a factor. There is big gooseberry fruit, complimented with lemon and to a smaller extent, some other tropical fruits like passionfruit and grapefruit. Pretty big pucker factor. Kind of greenish in color. This one really cleanses the palate. We drank it by itself, maybe we should try a bottle with some cheese, or maybe a mixed salad.

- Greenish color and aromas of grapefruit. It's overly acidic and has flavours of grapefruit with a medium body. Juicy texture with a long finish.

grassy, moderate plus acidity, medium body, citrus lime, not the best NZ Sav Blanc but a good buy.

Bursts forth with notes of green apple followed by citrus & melon. Finishes with a mineral edge. Very good showing here.

Nose: mineral, less grassy than typical NZ Sauv, Taste: mineral backbone but nice balance, clean, simple but tasty, more lime than grapefruit

This wine is almost as good - yes, not *as* good - as Goose Bay but it's $15 instead of $25-27

Very tart and pucker-ish. Finishes warm with lingering acidity. Not my favorite. Too much acid and pucker.
