Gracefully low in alcohol, I have to admit that if tasted blind, I probably would've thought this was a Flanders red ale and not sparkling cabernet sauvignon. Tannic, dry, refreshing, nervy, and definitely something you'd want to drink with food, I think. Be careful when opening it; even though it was well chilled, it overflowed the bottle almost immediately and made a mess of my kitchen floor... this is probably something you'd want to open over a bowl and then decant that into your glass!

Low alcohol refresher on a hot Fall day. Good with or without food. Use care when opening.
