Really nice cab. Perfect with flank steak. It did fade after a few hours but beautiful right out the gate and leveled up after an hour. Probably as good as it is going to be but should hold at this spot for several years to come. Enjoy!

Nice wine with pasta. Great QPR @ $25/btl. Bramble fruit with dark cherries and chocolate with a hint of cinnamon. Nice wine in a tough vintage year. Baldacci does a nice job....right across the highway from Shafer.

PnP Notes - This was not as good as I remembered earlier bottles. An absolute TON of sediment (which I normally love to see), but I can't help but wonder if it tainted this a bit. The aroma was a bit off... earthy with some chalk. Taste was also a bit tart and chalky in the mouth. Rest of the bottle is decanting for at least another 90 minutes. Will update the notes if the changes are significant. Have to say, glad this was my last 2011 bottle. Looking to my 2012 and getting some 2013 (if available) and 2014... normally, this is one of my favs, especially for the money.

Nice, dark color. Great aroma with lots of dark fruit and concentrated. Taste is very similar and me-full bodied. Long finish.
Get more of this 14.5% wine at anything less than $35. I'd give this vintage 89 Points and a Great QPR for the price paid. Only a Good QPR at Total Wines normal ($47) price.

Earthy, with bid plum flavors. After an hour,imt started to open up, showing more dark cherry and other red/black fruits. Full and rich, but the acidity kept it feeling refreshing. Fine tannins, with a little heat, make this a decent, unique go to, Napa red blend.

Tasted at Baldacci Family Vineyards today. Black cherry and currants on the nose, more of the same on the palate, tasty, medium/big body, easy drinking, wine, almost elegant and complex, long finish.

Tasted at Baldacci Family Vineyards today. Nose of cherry and fig, and dried tea leaves, more of the same on the palate, at it's best with rich fruit showing today, tasty, medium/big body, deceptively designed for Cabernet lovers who appreciate non parker wines, elegant and complex, long finish.

Tasted at Baldacci Family Vineyards today. Nose of dark fruit, cherry and fig, cough drop, plum, and dust, more of the same on the palate, fairly fruit forward, rich and tasty, medium/big body, lots of complexity due to blending, long rich finish, will peak in the cellar about 2 years from now.

drinking very similar to how the '12 is drinking now, yet somehow does not have the amount of sediment that the younger vintage has.
Also, the fruit is less pronounced that the younger '12. Happy to enjoy a few more bottles in the coming future.
