  • I like this wine, but I don't love this wine. I've been drinking this label for ~ 10 years now, and I've been excited maybe once. It's pricey for what's in the bottle; I'm always left wanting more, more soul, to be specific. My benchmark is Claudio Mariotto, fwiw. Light>medium-bodied, dry, slightly more mineral than (white and yellow) fruit (which is fine), but lacks the freshness that would have taken this up a (needed) notch. Still, I love the variety, and the sense of grape and place that often come with it. 13,5% abv., drink thru 2020 (though probably not getting better from here). At the $19 price I paid, it's fair, though short of good. NR

  • Incredibly well balanced minerals, complexity similar to a well rounded Sauvignon. Apricots and pear as prominent flavor; dry wood flavor.
    Single vintage recently recovered.
    Fantastic discovery. Outrageously low price.
