Decanted. Note is 2.5h after decant. Aromas of baked apples, mild caramel, vanilla and oak spice. Palate with baked and fresh apples, minerals, some vanilla and a bit of caramel. Nice acids on a medium body. Good minerals. Nice finish of fruit, minerals and a bit of caramel. My main knock on this wine is that the oak is more noticeable than I would like. Otherwise, a nice drink

Had the 2013 over a week to determine nature of the wine and timing. Wine sharp and minerally out of the bottle, with its complexity not yet evident, developing after four tastings over a week. Improved dramatically, becoming a full classic Puligny M. Green apple to lime to limestone and grapefruit citrus. Rounds out after airing to an explosion of flavor mid-pallet and finish. Barely approachable now, and will improve substantially with cellaring. Expect to open again in 2019, and anticipate now it will peak 2022-23. Recommended if you can put it down. Reasonably priced now but the world in time will find them.

My wife opened this a few hours before I got home from work. I had a few glasses when I got home. Beautiful floral nose, complex lime, apple on the tongue with an acidic zip. We have three more of these in the cellar and I hope we can hold of for a few years. One of the best mid-priced whites I've had in some time.

2012 Red Burgs and a nice 04 (My basement (so we could watch the Cavs East. Conf. Championship): The first white Burgundy I had bought in likely a decade due to premox concerns. This is a Fass wine and I trust Lyle. Pop and pour did this wine a disservice. It took at least an hour to open. In fact at the beginning, most did not like it. By the end of the night, most liked it a lot. Light gold in color. The nose has a lot of sulfur. Also some green apples. On the palate, this is tart, clean with lemons. A bit odd on the finish at first in taste and drying. Wit air, this sorts out, adds some balance and drinks quite well. There is a good amount of acidity and I think food helped it as well. This was my only bottle, but I would give this lots more air or if I felt lucky, let it age for 8 years.
