  • slow legs, pale yellow, nose is a little harsh, yeasty; not a good balance of tannin & sweet, definitely does not have the creamy taste characteristics of so many chardonnays

  • Fairly dark yellow in the glass, the nose is loaded with oak. Butterscotch, vanilla, toast, and maybe a little bit of ripe, grilled pineapple. More of the same on the palate, this tastes just hyper-manipulated. There will be people who can't drink this, thanks to the oak. I can drink it, but it is a long way from my personal preferences. My wife, on the other hand, likes it. Well, that's how it goes sometimes. I don't rebuy unless we're both fans, and this one just doesn't cut it for me.

  • This is an excellent wine! It has a lot of bright flavors along with the oak flavor. It is like a spring version of a deep oak chardonnay.

It has a hint of sweetness that balances the acidity, along with a nice smooth oak flavor with a hint of butter.

Loving this Chardonnay, buying more to make sure we have some on hand. Highly recommend! (I prefer the Oak Chardonnay's)
