Michael Schuster Fine Wine Course Day 1 (Headspace, Hatton Gardens, London): Medium lemon colour. Medium (+) intensity aromas of lychee, mango, rose petal, stone fruit. Youthful. Medium sweet palate, medium acidity, medium alcohol (only 12%), full body, medium (+) intensity flavours similar to the nose. Long finish. Much more gentle and subtle than the ZH tasted at the same time. Graceful, elegant. Outstanding VT Gewurtztraminer that can be drunk now but is certainly suitable for further ageing.

Restaurant Fitzgerald (Rotterdam, Netherlands): Aromas of spicy yellow fruits. Refined sweet, intense and well balanced on the palate with lovely flavours of dried apricots and fresh pineapple. Delicious!

12% abv. Light gold, thick/viscous texture, honey, lychee, white flowers. Rather monotone profile. Finishes full and spicy, Med- length.

Leiden in Rotterdam: Lovely difference after all the red wines. Nose some peach and orange. Taste very fresh, lychee, sweetness.
