Good nose and good cherry, dark fruit and oak on the palate. The issue with the wine is that it has strong medicinal overtones in the finish that really ruin the experience. Drinkable but not by much.

In a way we can respect, this comes across as an approximately $12 California Pinot Noir. It tastes just a touch commercial and manipulated, but still earns a decent score because there is a solid core of quality fruit and the supporting other stuff does it's job. The nose has the unmistakable aroma of oak chips with some dark fruit. The fruit on the palate is a substantial rustic, wild berry, plum and mulberry. Basically soft and ready to drink upon release. There is a raw acidity that keeps things interesting. Not bad at all.
