Three-hour decant. Deep garnet color. Aromas of black currant & cassis fruit, cedar, clove & allspice, tobacco. Rich black & blue fruit on the palate, spice layers, oak notes, florals. Concentrated and extracted, with ripeness in check. Big dense structure, full-bodied, low to medium acid, round fleshy tannin. Carries its oak and spice through the finish. Would like to see this shed a little more fat.

Bouquet of inky fruit, peppers, charcoal, and Champoux terroir. Medium plus acid, medium minus tannin, balanced, excellent mouthfeel. Recommend holding until 2017 and it should drink well through 2022+.

Red Mountain wine tasting June 2015: Aromas of black cherry, earth, cedar and spice. Nicely layered secondary and fruit notes on the palate- tea, black olive, black cherry, cassis and clove. Silky tannins, excellent balanced and depth.

Decanted one hour
At a lovely stage: sweet black fruit over firm supple tannins.
Love this vineyard

Decanted three hours.
Dark berries, medium+ acidity, dusty tannins, a hint of oakiness on back of palate
Coming into its own, long and balanced with subtle fruit

A lovely smooth wine that only got better the longer it was opened. One of the nicest wines I have tasted in a long time.

Blackcurrant, cedar finish to nose
Cool initial mouthfeel Soft dusty tannins, sweet rather than savory. Slight chewiness on long finish
